Polished Super Red II

The Starlet was seriously turning pink and even white in places so I thought it was about time I gave it a polish to restore it back to the factory Super Red II paint it supposedly had before.

I think it came out pretty well, here is a moody shot I took on my driveway.

Sakura Starlet

I came across these lovely blossoms by accident today and I happened to have my micro four thirds camera with me and a tripod which was handy as it would've been rude not to snap a few shots in Spring with some beautiful sakura happening.

OZ Racing Saturn 15" in Satin Grey

Here are the newly refurbished powder coated wheels in Satin Grey fitted to my Starlet.

OZ Saturn Wheels Powder Coated Satin Grey

Well I finally got round to sorting out the old set of OZ Saturn wheels I got cheap. I took them to the local powder coaters to get sand blasted and a fresh coat of paint on them. I opted for satin grey as it looked quite an interesting colour on the demo wheel.

I'm really pleased with how they turned out, they look almost like primer in some instances but when the light catches them they look slightly metallic which is cool. I'll be fitting them to the car this weekend so I'll get a few more shots then.

Lens Testing

I just got a new lens for my camera so I was out testing it and I kind of liked this shot I got.

Replacement Sparco Racing NS-11

I managed to you damage my wheel a while back so I was quite upset as I'd managed to keep them away from curbs and potholes for years until I got too close to a curb one day and really knackered one.

Double Trouble

I miss having the Civic on the road, hopefully by Summer time I'll have both cars looking good and on the road.
